Malhan as the founder Director of the college. IHE, New Delhi became a constituent college of the University of Delhi in the year Established In : 1969 and within a few years two more new programmes were introduced, i.e 1-year Postgraduate Diploma in Dietetics & Type:Public Health & Nutrition and 3-year B.Sc (Hons) in  Home Science. In the year 1987, Lt.
