Jaypee University of Engineering and Technology Guna (JUET) was established in 2010 on 29th April. JUET Guna is a private university established in Madhya Pradesh under the provisions of MP Niji Vishwavidyalaya Adhiniyam. Initially, JUET Guna was established as Jaypee Institute of  Engineering and Technology in the year 2003 based on the MOU signed between Jaiprakash Sewa Sansthan (a not-for-profit trust ) and the Government of Madhya Pradesh and was established as a private state university in 2010.
