The Belgorod State University (abbreviated BSU or BelSu) is located in Belgorod, Russia. It is one of the oldest university in Russia and also known as The National Research University. BelSU was established in 1876 by the command of the Russian Ministry of Public Education. In BSU, the total no. of scholars in the last seven years has raised more than 3 times. Currently, around twenty-three thousand Russian students and more than 2800 international students from 91 different countries are reading at Belgorod State University. In 2009, The BelSU turned into the base institution of the SCO (The Shanghai Cooperation Organization) Network University, in the primacy field of Nanotechnology, Ecology and Regional Studies. On 26 April 2010, The Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation nominated the BSU to be honored the title of the national research university. The BSU contains different campuses.
