The Manesar campus was established as a State Private University by Act (No.10 of 2010) of the State Legislature of Haryana and is authorized to award degrees as specified by the UGC under Section 22 of the UGC Act 1956. Amity University Gurugram was established in 2010 and is a private university. The university has been approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC). Amity University Gurugram is located in the state of Haryana and the university has a campus area of around 110 acres. Andhra Loyola College Andhra Loyola College is managed and administered by the members of the Society of Jesus (Jesuits), a Catholic religious order, which has rendered signal service in the fields of education and service to humanity for over 450 years. The college was founded in December 1953 at the request of the Catholic bishops of Andhra Pradesh and began its academic sessions in July 1954.
