Indian Culinary Academy,Bangalore was established in the year 2011 by the Academy of Science and Knowledge Institute of Hospitality and Culinary Arts (ASKIHCA). It is a private college, situated in Bangalore, Karnataka. It has been recognised by UGC and has also been approved by The University of Trans-Disciplinary Health Science & Technology, Bengaluru. The academy has also been accredited by the National Skill Development Council (NSDC), Govt of India. The Indian Culinary Academy courses are offered to interested candidates at diploma, undergraduate and postgraduate doctoral levels. The Indian Culinary Academy admission to all offered courses is offered on the basis of the candidate's performance in the ICA Aptitude test and must have qualified in the last qualifying exam. For admission to UG courses, candidates must have passed class 12 or equivalent exams from a recognised board in any stream and for diploma courses, candidates must have passed the class 10 exam. The Indian Culinary Academy campus offers students a variety of facilities such as a gymnasium, laboratories, a sports complex, transportation services, banking services, a full-fledged library, a canteen, and more. The college also has a dedicated placement cell to carry out placement-related activities. Every year, placement drives are held by the Indian Culinary Academy placement cell and many recruiters participate in it to give students the opportunity to begin their careers before even completing their education.
