Founded in 2009 as KL College of Engineering, the Koneru Lakshmaiah Education Foundation University Guntur, is Andhra Pradesh’s first private engineering educational institute. The Thudiyalur Cooperative Agricultural Services Limited was munificent enough to donate about Rs.75,000/- which included the dividend of 16,000 farmers. Other generous donors from the agricultural community and philanthropists of Kongunadu also have made valuable contributions

Dr.M.Aruchami, one of the founders of the College, the first Principal, former Secretary and the present President, a dedicated educationist with his sharp academic acumen, futuristic vision, the strong, impartial, transparent and able leadership has guided this Institution to its present state of fame and glory. Er.R.Somasundaram B.E.,FIE., a man of strong and clear convictions endowed with keen sense of imagination and dedication is presently serving as a Member in the College Council and the College Committee and is guiding the institution on the right path. Dr. C. A.Vasuki daughter of Dr. M. Aruchami and alumna of this college, a strong achiever has taken over charge as the Secretary of the College at present.

The College is ideally located in serene and rural surroundings not far from the city. It is conveniently connected with all parts of the city through frequent town buses plying from various destinations. Started in the year 1973 with a humble beginning, the college has grown magnificently in academic stature with autonomous status having 13 research programmes, 11 PG programmes and 22 UG programmes. The college is imparting higher education to approximately 5000 students, majority of whom hail from socially and economically weaker sections of the society. Nehru Arts and Science College,Tamil Nadu Nehru Arts and Science College has emerged from the galaxy of Nehru Group of Institutions with the dictum, “Knowledge is wisdom”. Nirmala College for Women,Tamil Nadu Nirmala College for Women, Red Fields, Coimbatore is a Catholic Institution of Higher Education for Women, under the direction of the religious society of the Franciscan Sisters of the Presentation of Mary founded by Rev.Fr. Joseph Louis Ravel in the year 1948. The College became autonomous in the year 2007. The Institution continues to be affiliated to Bharathiar University and is free to design its own course of studies and adopt innovative strategies of teaching and evaluation. The University degrees are conferred on the students passing the examinations conducted by the College. The College had its humble beginning as a Second Grade College in the year 1948. The founder Msgr. Oubagarasamy, D.D., the Bishop of Coimbatore, with a missionary zeal and farsighted vision worked to contribute his might to the tremendous task of developing women's education in free India. He sent a proposal to the University of Madras requesting permission from the Coimbatore Diocese to start a College for women in Coimbatore. Thus Nirmala College came into being on the 1st of July 1948. The College has now emerged as one of the premier institutions of learning, propagating higher values of education and learning, with hopes and dreams to achieve her goal "Knowledge Purifies, Charity Enhances". In the year 2015, the college was once again accredited ‘A’ grade by NAAC with a CGPA of 3.62.The college having won ‘A’ grade successively in the three cycles is now eligible for a period of extension of seven years of assessment under NAAC. The college has been recognized under the Star College Scheme of DBT, Government of India from 2012. The college was upgraded to the star status in 2017. Six science departments are included under the Star College Scheme. DST-FIST at the zero level has been awarded to the college in 2017. Osmania College

Osmania College, Kurnool, was established in 1947 through the efforts of Dr. M. Abdul Haq and a few following prominent people who were the creamy layer of the Muslim Society:

Application for affiliation was made in October,1946 to the Madras University. Dr. M. Abdul Haq (Founder), Mr. Abdul Hamid Khan, M.L.C., Dr. Syed Abdul Lateef, played an active role and presented a Memorandum to Sir Mirza Ismail, President of His Exalted Highness, the Nizam's Council, for a capital grant of Rs. 2,00,000/- and the college was named as "OSMANIA COLLEGE". Dr. M. Abdul Haq took upon himself the onerous responsibility towards the establishment of the College in 1946-47, which is paying rich dividends to all sections of the society, and to say the least, every house in Kurnool has a graduate from Osmania College.

By efflux of time, Justice Basheer Ahmed Sayeed, Moulvi Moulana Bukhari Sahib have acted as President of the Society and presently Mr. H. Noor Ahmed is the President of the Society, while Dr Javed Rasheed is the Vice-President. Mr. K. Salam Khan, Mr. M. Mahfuzul Haq and Mr. M.A. Haq have extended their services as Secretary of the Governing Body. Dr. M. Anwarul Haq who passed away served the Institution as Principal and Jt. Secretary. Mr.M. Mahfuzul Haq for a long time was the Secretary and Correspondent. Among the other members, the most prominent were Mr. G.A. Salam, Dr. Rasheed Ahmed who worked for the progress of the college. Mr. M. Mahfuzul Haq played a pivotal role in the development and expansion of Educational Institutions viz:

1.Parallel Degree Sections for Women 1986-87. 2.New Courses for B.A., B.Sc.,B.Com.,B.Com (Computers),B.C.A. and B.B.M., 3.B.Ed.,College 4.Law College 5.Hajirah Jr. College for Girls.  

Mr. M.A. Huq, who assumed charge as Secretary in 1997 was largely responsible to introduce M.Sc.(Information System) in 2000-2001.

The Present Secretary & Correspondent, Mrs. Azra Javed is a dynamic person, who handles all the issues with utmost care and great concern with the active help and assistance of all members. She is now at the helm of administration since June, 1999. She has successfully established M.A.,(English), M.A.,(Telugu), M.Sc.,(Mathematics),M.Sc.,(Physics), M.Sc.,(Organic Chemistry) & M.Com.(General) as Co- Education programmes. At the UG level, keeping in view the local needs of the area, the courses, B.Sc. Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science and B.Sc. Mathematics, Electronics, Computer Science were started. A number of certificate courses were started as add-on courses. The college also started functioning as an Autonomous Institution from 2005, under her tenure. Further extension of Autonomy was extended by the UGC till 2023-2024. It is a matter of great pride, that under her able stewardship and wise guidance the college was accredited (2007) and re-accredited (2016) by NAAC with 'A' grade.
