CEPT University, Ahmedabad OverviewCEPT University was previously known as ‘Centre for Environment, Planning & Technology’; established by the Ahmedabad Education Society (AES) with the support of the TYPE : Government of Gujarat and the TYPE : Government of India over 56 years ago in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Until 2002 the institute was autonomous and recognized by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE). From 2002 to Established In : 2005 it was affiliated to Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University. In Established In : 2005, the TYPE : Government of Gujarat integrated CEPT as a university and the University is recognized as Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (SIRO) by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR) and also recognized by UGC in 2007.CEPT University is a set of four different schools that consists School of Architecture (SA), School of Planning (SP), School of Building Science and Technology, and School of Interior Designing. The University offers UG, PG and doctoral programs in various areas such as Architecture, Planning, etc. CEPT University believes in providing quality education and hands-on training to its learners in the area of designing, planning, building and managing human abode.
