Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University Pune (BVDU) was established in 1964. The university is situated in Pune, Maharashtra. The total student enrollment at BVDU Pune is more than 5,000 and the total number of faculty members is more than 1,000. The university has been given Category-I Deemed to be University Grade by the UGC. The university has been accredited by NAAC and it has received an ‘A+’ grade. In NIRF 2021 Ranking, Bharati Vidyapeeth, Pune has been ranked 68th in the university category. In the NIRF ranking 2020, the varsity has secured the 98th position in the overall category.
BVDU Pune offers courses at 2 levels. These are the UG and PG levels. Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University courses at UG level are - B.Sc, B.A, B.B.A, etc. Admission to BVDU Pune UG courses is done through the Common Entrance Test (CET). BVDU Pune courses at the PG level are M.A, M.B.A, M.Sc, etc. Admission to the PG courses is also through entrance exams conducted by the university.
Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University has many facilities for its students. This includes the BVDU Pune health facilities, sports facilities, library, baking facilities and many more. BVDU Pune placement department is responsible for overseeing the internship, placement and training matters of the students. Many companies have visited the Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University Pune placement drive and have selected many of the students of BVDU.
