Parul University is a private university established by the state government of Gujarat in 2015 under Gujarat Private Universities Act. The University offers 160 different undergraduates, postgraduate and doctoral degree programmes through 34 institutions across 21 wide streams. The various faculties include medicine, engineering, pharmacy, homoeopathy, ayurvedic, management, law, fine arts, design, arts, and commerce etc. The University is spread over 150 acres and has 100 academic blocks. Presently, more than 28,000 students are studying at the university. The University also accommodates international students and presently accommodate 1200 students.

College of Engineering Roorkee was established in 1998. It is approved by the AICTE, College of Engineering, Roorkee is affiliated with Uttarakhand Technical University Dehradun and is a privately owned co-ed college. The total campus size of the college is more than 70 acres. The vision of the college is to be an institution of education par excellence in the contemporary context. The total number of faculty members is more than 100 and the total student enrollment is more than 1,500.The College of Engineering, Roorkee offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses, namely, B.Tech. in eight different specializations and M.Tech. in two different specializations. There are 810 seats and 36 seats in B.Tech. and M.Tech., respectively.The college has witnessed year-wise placement progress with 84.6% placed in the 2018-19 batch. The top recruiters are TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Wipro, HCL, etc. COER also has relations with many industry leaders like IBM, Infosys Technologies, Microsoft Corporation, and Oracle Corporation to provide students with ample opportunities to learn and to be in touch with the companies and their work culture.Pragati Engineering College, Surampalem was founded in 2001 under Gayatri Educational Society. The College was inaugurated by the then Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Sri Nara Chandrababu Naidu. The Institute lies with an area of 25 acres of land providing various academic and infrastructural facilities. Pragati Engineering College is affiliated to the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Kakinada. The Institute is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The Institute currently offers admissions to undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. A total of 1020 seats are offered to B.Tech admissions and 108 seats are offered to M.Tech admissions.

The nearest airport from the Institute is the Rajahmundry Airport which is 34.1 km away and students can reach the campus in approximately 48 mins. The nearest railway station from Pragati Engineering College is the Samarlakota Railway Station which is 16 km away and students can reach the Institute campus in about 19 mins.
Clubs, Committees & Societies:-
Cultural Club- The Cultural Club of Pragati Engineering College is responsible for organizing all the cultural activities and events happening inside the college over the year. The Cultural Club looks after the Cultural events that have to be organized and conducted throughout the year.
Sports Club- The Sports Club of Pragati Engineering College, Surampalem has been formed to develop the skills and interests of students in sports. This club aims to promote a healthy and fit lifestyle by engaging students more in sports activities. Various events and competitions are also conducted by the members of this club. The members of this club also conduct various sports and recreational activities on National Sports Day.
Entrepreneurship Development Cell- The Entrepreneurship Development Cell of Pragati Engineering College has been developed to polish the innovative and entrepreneurial skills of students. This club has been formed with the objective of providing a platform to the budding entrepreneurs in the near future by letting them know about the skills and strategies of the business field. Various events, workshops, business talks, industrial visits, live projects, experiential learnings are also conducted by this club to teach the students about the business related strategies practically.
Career Guidance Cell- Students of Pragati Engineering College, Surampalem are provided counselling sessions by trained counsellors regarding their academics and choosing the right career path. Students are provided with correct advice and are helped in building their confidence, personality for more career opportunities. Students are also helped in preparing themselves better for interviews for job opportunities.
Literary Club- The main objective of this Club is to encourage the literary talent of the students and enhance the creativity skills. The members of this society are always thrilled about learning new topics and exploring ideas. This Club also conducts various quiz competitions inside the institute campus.
Technical Club- The Technical Club of Pragati Engineering Club aims to provide a platform to students for developing their technical skills by engaging themselves in various activities and events.
NSS- National Service Scheme (NSS) is a Youth Programme which is established under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India. Students of Pragati Engineering College, Surampalem have also conducted various programmes under this scheme including international yoga day, blood donation, leprosy campaign, swachh bharat, literary campaign, mass cleaning, mass tree plantation, road traffic awareness, sand sculpturing, polio vaccine, disaster management, PFMS training etc. to spread awareness among the common people.
NCC- N.C.C has been formed inside Pragati Engineering College to show the importance of living a disciplined life among students which also helps them contribute their part towards the development of the country. The students of the N.C.C group also take part in various other activities including parasailing, paragliding, paradropping, training camps, National Integration camps, rock climbing and mountaineering activities like boat pulling/sailing and ship modelling etc.
